Refund Policy

Effective July 2026

At Spark Literacy Innovations Group Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"), we put significant care into every resource we create. We want you to feel confident before you buy. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

Not sure if a product is right for your setting? Reach out before you purchase. We are happy to answer questions, share samples, or help you figure out which tier or product fits your students. Email us at hello@slinnovations.com. We read every message.

1. All sales are final

All purchases from Spark Literacy Innovations Group Inc. are final and non-refundable. This applies to:

Downloadable products, including individual units, graphic organizer sets, the Diagnostic Bundle, and any other downloadable files. Once a file has been delivered or accessed, it cannot be returned.
Program tiers (Step In, Step Up, Step Forward), including all curriculum files, workbooks, assessments, and any associated platform access. Access is granted upon purchase and cannot be reversed once delivered.
Interactive platform access, including HTML lesson presentations and web-based tools (SPARK+SORT Interactive App, Narrative Planning App). Platform access is activated on purchase.
Workshop registrations. Once enrolled, registration fees are non-refundable. If a workshop is cancelled by us, you will receive a full refund or credit toward a future offering.

2. Licensing purchases

School site, learning centre, and district licences are invoiced separately and are governed by the terms in your licence agreement and our Licence Terms of Use. If you have questions about a licensing purchase, please contact us directly at hello@slinnovations.com.

3. Exceptions

If you believe there is a genuine error with your purchase, such as a technical issue that prevented access, a product that was materially different from its description, or a duplicate charge, please contact us at hello@slinnovations.com within 14 days of your purchase. We review these situations individually and will work with you to find a fair resolution.

4. Before you buy

Every program tier and standalone product on our site includes a detailed description of what is covered, who it is designed for, and what is included. For SSW program tiers, a full scope and sequence is available to download before purchase. We encourage you to review all available information and reach out with any questions before completing your order.

5. Payment disputes and chargebacks

Because our products are delivered digitally and right away, we ask that you contact us at hello@slinnovations.com before starting a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card provider. Most access or billing issues can be resolved quickly and directly with us.

6. Your consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits or removes any rights you have that cannot be waived under applicable consumer-protection law in British Columbia or Canada.

7. Governing law

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
