Resources for literacy educators
Explicit. Systematic. Sequential. Built by practitioners for the students who need it most.
Spark Literacy Innovations Group builds explicit, systematic literacy resources for tutors, classroom teachers, special educators, and homeschooling families. Everything we make fits the way great literacy educators already work, filling the gaps, completing the picture, one carefully sequenced resource at a time.
Aligned with the science of reading and Orton-Gillingham methodology. Designed with real classroom and tutoring practice in mind.
Created by working practitioners who use these materials in real sessions every week. We know your students because they are our students.
Complete and lesson-ready. Spend less time prepping and more time teaching. Open it and go.
Access to high-quality, evidence-based literacy instruction shouldn't depend on where you live or how much you can afford. We want to make excellent resources available to as many educators as possible.
You already know your students. Our job is to give you materials that are worthy of your expertise and easy to put into practice, so you can focus on the teaching, not the prep.
We are part of the science of reading community, not just selling to it. We mentor, supervise, and collaborate with practitioners because we believe we grow together.
A complete writing program built on explicit, systematic, sequential instruction. From the very first sentence to a finished multi-genre essay. 15-minute lessons. Fully scripted. Nothing left to prep.

Get the free Writing Starter KitSpark Literacy Innovations started the way most good things do: out of necessity. After years of creating custom materials for our own tutoring and coaching practices, we realised two things. First, what we were making was actually really good. Second, other practitioners needed the same things we did, and were spending just as much time making them from scratch.
So we decided to do something about it.
